Process
First I opened up the ball image file in GIMP
Next, I zoomed in closer to the image and selected my paintbrush tool
Next, I wrote my name on the image, taking up a significant part of the whole image
Next, I exported it in .jpg format
Then in .png format
And finally, in .gif format
This is the ball picture saved in popular web formats! It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at Immersive Education @ BC
